How To Fix A Cowhide Rug Curl
Even the best cowhide rugs can get a curl now and again. What's happening is the cowhide rug leather is losing some moisture and starts to curl a little. I'll show you how to fix that in just a few very easy steps. I let the example from a cowhide rug in our showroom curl for several months to get it really ready to show how well this works..... STEP ONE: Spray some water on top of the cowhide rug just where the curl is.
STEP TWO: Spray some water on the underside of the cowhide rug just where the curl is.
STEP THREE: Place a rag or washcloth flat under the damp area and also one directly on top of the cowhide rug curl.
STEP FOUR: Place something flat and heavy on top of the cowhide rug and leave overnight. *Make sure you have forced the curl to lay flat underneath the rag.
