Multi-Pelt Icelandic Sheepskin Rug – Natural White

$1,475

Our Natural White Multi-Pelt Icelandic Sheepskin Rugs combine multiple natural sheepskins into a generously scaled rug with exceptional softness, texture and dimension. Subtle variations of ivory and creamy white create depth across the surface while allowing the character of the individual pelts to remain visible.

Rather than appearing completely uniform, each rug reveals natural differences in wool length, curl and density. Long, flowing Icelandic wool transitions into softer curls and denser textures, creating a richly layered surface even within the restrained natural-white palette.

CURRENT AVAILABILITY

This color family is currently sold out. The photographs shown represent a previously offered Furug Natural White multi-pelt rug and illustrate the natural variation and character of this collection.

When new rugs become available, each individual rug will be photographed and listed separately, allowing you to select the exact rug, coloration and dimensions you will receive.

NATURAL MATERIAL. GENEROUS SCALE.

Multi-pelt construction creates the presence of an area rug while retaining the tactile character and organic quality of natural sheepskin. The tonal white palette makes these rugs particularly versatile, adding softness and dimension without introducing a strong contrasting color.

Our in-stock rugs typically retain an organic perimeter that follows the natural contours of the individual pelts. Differences in wool length, curl, texture and subtle coloration are inherent to the material and give every finished rug its individual character.

The larger scale makes these rugs particularly suited to seating areas, bedrooms and spaces where a single sheepskin would feel too small. Against wood, stone, plaster or upholstered furnishings, the natural wool introduces warmth and texture while remaining visually light.

CUSTOM SIZES & SHAPES

For projects requiring specific dimensions or proportions, Furug can also produce custom multi-pelt sheepskin rugs for designers and trade clients. Custom rugs can be created in larger sizes and tailored shapes, including designs with cleaner, straighter edges when a more architectural profile is preferred.

Every Furug sheepskin is selected for the qualities that make natural wool exceptional—texture, color, character, scale and overall beauty. We seek out distinctive European sheepskins, unusual breeds and naturally beautiful colorations rather than treating natural variation as something to standardize.

Each piece is chosen individually for its quality and character. When Choose Your Rug is available, the sheepskin shown is the exact piece you will receive, allowing you to select the actual color, markings, wool texture, shape and dimensions that best suit your space.

Interior designers turn to Furug for distinctive natural materials selected for exceptional quality, character and individuality. Our sheepskins are chosen for their wool texture, natural coloration, scale and the unique qualities that make each piece one of a kind.

When Choose Your Rug is available, each sheepskin is individually photographed so designers can select the exact piece for their project—providing confidence in the color, markings, texture, shape and dimensions before specifying.

Sheepskin is naturally resilient and requires relatively little routine care. Gently shake the hide outdoors periodically to release dust and restore the wool. For longer-wool sheepskins, a soft brush or wide-tooth comb may be used when appropriate to refresh the fibers.

For small spills, blot promptly with a clean, absorbent cloth rather than rubbing. Avoid saturating the hide, machine washing, harsh detergents and direct heat.

For significant cleaning, we recommend consulting a professional cleaner experienced with genuine sheepskin and leather-backed hides.
