Our Melange Multi-Pelt Icelandic Sheepskin Rugs combine multiple natural sheepskins into a generously scaled rug with extraordinary texture, movement and individuality. Each rug is composed to showcase the natural variation of the wool, creating a richly layered surface of ivory, cream, soft taupe and gray.

Unlike a conventional uniform sheepskin rug, Melange celebrates variation. Long, flowing Icelandic wool is combined with softer curls and denser textures, while subtle changes in natural coloration give each finished rug its own character.

At approximately five feet wide and nearly seven feet long, a multi-pelt sheepskin creates considerably more presence than a single hide while retaining the organic shape and tactile character that make natural sheepskin so distinctive.

The organic perimeter of our in-stock rugs follows the natural contours of the individual pelts, highlighting the character of the material. For projects requiring a more tailored profile, custom multi-pelt rugs can also be produced with cleaner, straighter edges.

The larger scale makes these rugs particularly suited to seating areas, bedrooms and other spaces where a single sheepskin would feel too small. Layer one beneath a cocktail table, position it alongside upholstered seating, or use it wherever a room calls for softness, texture and an organic counterpoint to more architectural materials.

Orders are shipped free on the next working day via UPS. You will receive tracking information once your order has been packaged and labeled.

Returns

You may request a return of your order within 14 days of receipt.

Please ensure you repack your item(s) carefully and include your order details so we may confirm refund details.  All refunds are issued after we receive and inspect the order.  Item(s) must be returned in new, unused condition as they were received.

Sheepskin is naturally resilient and requires relatively little routine care. Gently shake the hide outdoors periodically to release dust and restore the wool. For longer-wool sheepskins, a soft brush or wide-tooth comb may be used when appropriate to refresh the fibers.

For small spills, blot promptly with a clean, absorbent cloth rather than rubbing. Avoid saturating the hide, machine washing, harsh detergents and direct heat.

For significant cleaning, we recommend consulting a professional cleaner experienced with genuine sheepskin and leather-backed hides.
